EXCLUSIVE: AS MALAWIANS SLEEP, PRESIDENTIAL JET MONEY SHARED, PRESIDENT JOYCE BANDA GET HER CUT As we continue probing in the clandestine activities of acting Malawi President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda, we can confidently reveal here that the guest, who came to visit President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda at night last weekend, also brought her huge sums of ‘corrupt’ and ‘dirty’ money. Initially, we reported that the guest, Ahmed Kassam brought into the country supplies for rigging materials for the May 20th Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Government Elections. We have now further established that apart from delivering the said materials, he also brought cash into the country. The money was interim President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda’s cut from the Malawi Presidential Jet ‘sales’ and the Malawi Defence Force equipment purchase deal. Our impeccable sources at the Presidential Palace, Sanjika here in Blantyre have revealed that at least 3 of the 7 boxes that were offloaded from the charted private jet that landed at Chileka International Airport in the awe hours of Sunday, contained crispy notes of United States Dollars. “That’s the more reason why State House body guards were deployed to guard that vehicle carrying the boxes that were brought by the plane,” he said. HIGH LEVEL CORRUPTION According to our indisputable investigations, the money that came into the country alongside the rigging materials in the 7 boxes, was actually payment from Mr Ivor Chikowitz of Paramount Group of Companies. Ichikowitz, who we have verified operates with Mr Kassam, sent Mrs Banda’s cut through the intermediary as he was on his way to Malawi to conduct the other business of election rigging with the caretaker Malawian leader. The money that has finally been shared include; US$15 million in that Paramount Group of Companies allegedly purchased Malawi’s Presidential Jet and the other disclosed amounts where the Malawi Government bought arms from the Paramount Group of Companies. Ahmed Kassam, a British national travelling on Personal Passport Number; 503403843 landed here in Malawi in a charted jet from Abuja, Nigeria where he had just met Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. He travelled in a Hawker 2 Bravo with South African registration number ZS-CAG landed at our Chileka International Airport on Sunday morning at about 01:45am. His pilot was Captain Riccardo Talevi who was assisted by his co-pilot Athas Karatzas. All materials brought by this plane were that very same morning taken to Sanjika Palace under tight security by a State House vehicle, a white Toyota Hiace mini-bus registration number BK 8304 driven by driver Magamba. Mr Kassam and his two pilots were taken to Protea Ryalls Hotel where they spent a few hours before he went to meet acting President Joyce Banda at Sanjika Palace to hand over the materials that arrived earlier. The guest was driven in a State House black Toyota VX Registration Number BK 9704. The vehicle was driven by driver Kuyere. On instructions from acting President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda, left the country by the same jet at exactly 10:00 am without leaving personal details on the Declaration Forms at Chileka International Airport as per requirement by security and Immigration procedures.
