ATUPELE MAKWINJA Your Excellency, I humbly would like to report Your Excellency that following the visit I undertook to Linyangwa in T/A Lukwa, Kasungu when I accompanied His Excellency the First Gentleman I was approached by i)T/A Chidzuma, ii)Sub-TA Chaima, and iii)Sub-TA Nyaza that I should inform Your Excellency that the PP Shadow MP for Kasungu South, Hon Atupele Makwinja is behaving strangely and showing signs of dishonesty by being disloyal to Your Excellency and the People’s Party (PP), he is behaving as a traitor. The Chiefs reported that this Shadow MP invited them (the Chiefs) that he will be supporting Mr. Chakwela ( MCP President) prior to 20th May 2014 Tripartite Elections because he heard that some people conducted a research in his Constituency that MCP is popular unlike PP hence his support for MCP Presidency. He went on by telling the Chiefs that they should follow suit by voting Chakwera for Presidency and him for MP. Your Excellency, because of their disappointment with Mr. Atupele Makwinja the Chiefs are suggesting that with your approval, could it be possible for the People’s Party to support Mr. Afred Saini – Independent Shadow MP and not him, the incumbent Shadow MP. T/A Chidzuma and other Chiefs also reported that the 1,000 bags of maize you gave to Mr. Atupele Makwinja, only 200 bags reached the TAs and the remaining 800 bags were sold. Your Excellency, T/A Chidzuma and other Chiefs would like to seek appointment to explain to you about this development in your presence.
