Archbishop of Lipa Chancery Office/ & Archbishop Palace San Sebastian Cathedral Parish Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines Dear Eminences and Excellencies and brother bishops and priests, The highlight of the celebration is what we called the HOLY WEEK that is one great celebration in which we commemorate “the great mysteries of our redemption.” Let us not to forget that this week has two parts which are clearly distinguished from one another. Its first part forms the end of the preparation time for the annual celebration of the Paschal Mystery, which began with ASH WEDNESDAY. It ends on HOLY THURSDAY. While the second part begins with the evening mass of the LORD’S SUPPER, and includes the first two days of the Paschal Triduum. Actually celebrating today in our ARCHDIOCESE OF LIPA on this HOLY TUESDAY of the CHRISM MASS that was held this morning of April 15, 2014 is important that is an exclusive update to all our bishops and priests having into my identity the FULLNESS OF THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY ORDERS being the chosen witnessed of our LORD JESUS RESURRECTION inside the EUCHARIST year 1991-1992 at Poaino, Verona, Italy bringing the GOOD NEWS as far as it ends the PEOPLE POWER REVOLUTION and its LEADERSHIP when I arrived last May 24, 1992 at Manila International Airport coming from ROME, ITALY thought the SONS OF HOLY MARY IMMACULATE CONGREGATION (SHMI) as far as my brother and priests of the SHMI Fathers are concerned. That is why the CHARISM MASS today in our Archdiocese of Lipa as far as DICOESE OF BALAYAN of St. John the Baptist of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish is concerned in our Parish of Balayan is one of the principal expressions of the fullness of the bishop’s priesthood and signifies the close unity of the priest with him as far as I am concerned with the Collegial Indelible Character which it is clear as the chosen witnessed of the RISEN LORD JESUS that in the office like of the Twelve Apostles in the LAST SUPPER there is one aspect that cannot be transmitted: to be the chosen witnesses of the LORD’S RESURRECTION and so the foundation stones of the Church. (CCC # 860) Let us not forget also that blessing of the oil of the sick takes place before the end of the Eucharistic Prayer. By the grace of this sacrament of anointing of the sick or healing, the sick person receives the strength and the gift of uniting himself or herself more closely to Christ’s Passion: in a certain way he/she is consecrated to bear fruit by configuration to the Savior’s redemptive Passion. (CCC # 1520-1523) That is why being the main celebrant to celebrate the HOLY EUCHARIST/MASS on HOLY THURSDAY which it is dated on April 17, 2014 of the celebration of the LAST SUPPER of our RISEN LORD JESUS as far as being my brother bishops and priests in the Sacrament of HOLY ORDERS are concerned it is at the LAST SUPPER the Lord Himself directed his disciples’ attention toward the fulfillment of the PASSOVER in the Kingdom of God. (CCC # 1403) But of course even all the Ordained Ministries as far as I am concerned with regard to our sins committed or even of having the FULLNESS OF THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY ODERS with our beloved POPE FRANCIS as the SUPREME PONTIFF of our UNIVERSAL CATHOLIC CHURCH still it is our LORD JESUS entrusted to his disciples and to their successors the ministry of reconciliation, the bishops, who are their successors, and the priests, the bishop’s collaborators, continue to exercise this ministry. (CCC # 1461) Hopefully and Praying that I can also to visit again the VATICAN CITY, ROME, ITALY before the year 2016 as far as the FEAST of the BASILICA of the DEDICATION TO PETER AND PAUL is concerned every NOVEMBER 18 which every five (5) years bishops from all over the world make the Visita ad Lumina Apostolorum- the Visit to the Tombs of the Apostles – to renew their commitment to the service of Christ and of His Church.
