EXCUSE ME AS I POST THIS ONCE MORE!!!! I get so tired of people with race issues.. Im tired of racism, of people telling me I praising the wrong color Jesus (My God is all races mixed as am I), people getting mad and quick to pull the race card for something that has nothing to do with race.. I saw a video a couple days ago someone posted where there was police brutality but it was being done by police of the same race as the suspected offender. what does race have to do with this situation? Growing up, and im only being honest, minority kids were being treated as WE are thought to be treated.. These minorities were not black nor mexican.. They were the minority because the majority of the school children were either blacks or hispanics.. I saw them being bullied and mistreated just for being the different kid in class.. Not only did I see this but I also befriended a girl in school who was bullied by other BLACK kids for being too dark.. Ignorance knows no skin color, no creed, no religion in particular.. The race topic and police brutality to me are far from being one in the same.. We ignore details a lot of times to prove a point that is washed up.. Yes I do agree that there is racism that does still exist but I also know that so does mental illness.. People who are racist and folk who think the man is hindering him from life.. BULL!!! WE have seen so many changes in America that proves that although opportunity may not always be equal, there are many MANY opportunities out there.. Stop jumping on the bandwagon and think for self. I do NOT limit myself in my race because in all honesty, I am of mixed heritages and feel I shouldnt have to limit myself to one. No one race is more dominant than any other so why do I HAVE TO consider myself AFRICAN AMERICAN or even Black when in my genetic makeup I am of a host of ethnicities.. my genetic makeup content is: REGIONAPPROXIMATE AMOUNT Africa 77% Ivory Coast/Ghana28% Mali15% Nigeria10% Cameroon/Congo8% Benin/Togo5% Trace Regions 11% America 3% Native American3% Asia 2% Trace Regions 2% Europe 18% Ireland8% so when people say to me your kind or tell me that I am praising the wrong God or that I should stick to my own race I get very offended because I am of God not of one race or ethnicity. My stepfather is German, I have a few white family members by marriage and blood, My Aunt is half white (Italian), My brothers children and my sister in law are white, My Great Grandfather is a white man... FULLY. I try to steer away from the topic of race, religion and politics on my fb page because too many people are IGNORANT to be open.. Too many people with the slave mentality here centuries later just as well as the idiots walking around here with the mentality of the slave owner. We have to do better as a human race to overcome this madness. We are all Gods children. We all breath the same air to live, we all need nourishment and education, we all bleed the same color blood and have the same organs.. because some folk have more pigment than others should not make one person any better than any other! #1LOVE
