EXTRACT COPY-PASTED FROM ANOTHER THREAD...THE PARTIAL INCREDIBLE AMERICAN STORY OF A CUBAN REFUGEE KID AND HOW HE CAME TO LOVE THE AMERICAN FLAG AND THIS GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL NATION...USA! USA! USA!: This Great Nation has been EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD TO ME, a foreigner... a Cuban-born refugee kid...who eventually volunteered for the US Army and the Vietnam War at age 19 (still a documented foreigner...permanent resident)...I became a Military Policeman...I joined the elite 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, from there off to Vietnam as a combat MP...subsequently was Liaison chief between US Armys Southern Commands Provost Marshal and Panamas Manuel Noriega...while involved in covert operations with US Army CID, I was recruited by that organization and subsequently became a CID Special Agent/Criminal Investigator WITH A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE (not bad for a Cuban naturalized US Citizen by then.) I was selected and attended courses at the FBI Academy, Scotland Yards Metropolitan Police Academy (Hendon, London, England), DEA, ATF, and others. I once body-guarded General Colin Powell at a NATO Conference in Faro, Portugal...at the time he was the HIGHEST RANKING GENERAL IN THE U.S. ARMED FORCES! Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff! One morning he came into the Operations Room while I was on duty, poured himself a cup of coffee, chit chatted with me and other ARMED CID Agents, read the paper for a while and returned to his suite. I have also body-guarded United States Department of Defense and Army Secretaries, as well as other VIPs/Dignitaries...and...have even driven the chase car behind the principals vehicle a number of times. I also sat in the cockpit of a then highly classified B-1 Stealth Bomber before it was ever publicly revealed it existed! Having said all that, Rodney...please, NAME ME A FOREIGN NATION WHICH WILL PERMIT A FOREIGN BORN TO DO ANY SIMILAR THINGS WITHIN THEIR GOVERNMENT OR ARMED FORCES! ONLY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! USA! USA! USA! Just research all the things YOU, AS AN AMERICAN OR FOREIGN BORN WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO DO, REPEAT...WILL...NOT...BE PERMITTED TO DO WITHIN MEXICO! AND WHILE YOU ARE AT IT...RESEARCH HOW THE MEXICANS TREAT ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM CUBA, CENTRAL, SOUTH AMERICA, CHINA, ETC, FOUND WITHIN THE BORDERS OF MEXICO ITSELF! Have you ever heard of Mexicans in the United States or Mexican-Americans ever having any organized a protests against the government of Mexico for its INHUMANE TREATMENT OF FOREIGNERS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY MEXICAN AUTHORITIES IN MEXICO?! Hell NO! Have you ever heard of any such protest within Mexico?...double HELL NO! Yet, they in their hypocrisy many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans within the United States protest against the American Flag and OUR American Nation! WTF?! THAT IS PURE NATIONALISTIC HYPOCRISY ON THEIR PART, AMIGO! DEAL WITH THAT WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF BASHING THE UNITED STATES WITH YOUR IGNORANCE AND IDEALISM. And, yes, I have traveled much of the world...I have lived the realities of many foreign nations...THANKS TO THE UNITED STATES ARMY AND MY VERY OWN TRAVELING SPIRIT. I know one thing, I HAVE NOT EVER SEEN ANY GREENER GRASS WHILE LIVING AND TRAVELING OUTSIDE THE BORDERS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! USA! USA! USA! ;-)
