Pipsqueak needs our help to find a loving forever home to give her the attention and love she so desperately wants. Please share and advocate for her before it is to late... A volunteer writes: If I was lost in the Himalayan Mountains, I would like for Pipsqueak to rescue me, with or without a barrel of scotch….Her big debonair equine face with kind and mushy eyes would just do the trick. I would in an instant, feel safe, warm and strong again, just to have her by my side. Yes, Pipsqueak who is not tiny is a feel good dog. We all need to be rescued…from boredom, too much work, problems with family and friends, sadness from what we see around us or the news to name a few….Well, if you had a dog like Pipsqueak as a pet, she would be your therapy dog, your antidepressant, your anxiety reliever, your Red Bull. Thinking about it, Pipsqueak would make an awesome therapy dog for nursing homes, hospitals and chronic facilities. She is calm, well behaved, gets along with everybody, people and dogs alike and seems to like children very much, judging by the way she actioned her tail when a mob of them came to say hi at our gate. She is very much loved and admired at the care center. She aced, unmistakably her behavioral evaluation and is used as a helper dog… Pipsqueak walks slowly, eliminates on the way, sits on command, loves treats that she takes gently from my hand and welcomes little and big dogs. She is a good listener and pays attention to my cues. She can roll on her back for belly rubs and favors leaning across my lap for bonding time. She is very affectionate without being overwhelming. She knows to leave space. She has class despite her hefty looks…Pipsqueak was found as a stray, a big girl, four years of age , who has had her share of litter but still with a good figure. Her looks are unique and make you want to just hug her mushy face. Pipsqueak is at the Manhattan Care Center. If you are looking for a GOOD friend, a faithful companion, a listener and a fun pet to share your life with…Do not look any further, Pipsqueak is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center..
