EYL International 40 days prayer : January 27th focus : Poland • The materialist dream of wealth Post –independent proves elusive and hallow for most. Violence, immorality and the loss of moral compass haunt the younger generation in particular, and much of the rural population remains mired in unemployment and poverty. • Polish Catholicism is particularly noted for its devotion to Mary. Polish Catholics believe Mary to believe Mary to be spiritual queen of Poland, co-redemptive and intercessor between humanity and Jesus. • Pray for appropriate honoring, but against the undue worship, of Mary .Pray that biblical teaching and values might be retained and enhanced and Jesus rightly placed at the heart of Catholic Church • Evangelical Christians have always been a very small minority, but some positive development is evident. Unfortunately, the growth immediately following communism’s fall was replaced by relative stagnation in the new millennium. • Bible training for churches leaders, a much-needed ministry, developed quickly but has recently fallen off the pace. • Pray for new surge of students and for biblical faithfulness, spiritual power and missions vision to be hallmarks of graduates’ ministry. • The younger generation are caught up in secular materialism that has rapidly emerged in Poland, although are s many are spiritual responsive. • Pray for Polish youth and children might have plentiful opportunities to meet the living Christ. • Pray for EMERGING YOUNG LEADERS in Poland The prayer power has never been tried to its full capacity. If we want to see mighty wonders of divine power and grace wrought in the place of weakness, failure and disappointment, let us answer Gods standing challenge, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not!
