EZRA W. GLEASON, Born. July 5, 1773 ; died. July 11, 1849 at Center Lisle, N.Y. He was married Feb. 4, 1796 to Wealtha Hawley, who was born. Dec 15, 1779 and died. Oct. 8, 1850. In 1800 Ezra W. Gleason removed from Lenox, Mass., to Center Lisle, N. Y., making the journey with an ox team drawing a sled or stone boat. He settled in a dense hemlock forest, which he cleared, and improved a farm which for nearly fifty years was his home. Children : Marcena, b. Jan. 6, 1797 ; m. Matilda Briggs. Marcellus, b. Oct. 28, 1828, Anna Howland ; d. May 27, 1882, Center Lisle, N.Y. Benjamin H., b. JuneS, 1808 ; m. Eleanor Guernsey. Angeline, b. Aug. 11, 1813 ; m. June, 1833, Chas. L. Bottom. Levi W., b. May 26, 1816. Wealtha A., b. Jan. 29, 1819; m. Robert Smith. MARCENA GLEASON, born. Center Lisle, N. Y., Jan. 6, 1797 ; died. Center Lisle Nov. 11, 1875. He married in Center Lisle Oct. 1818, Matilda Briggs, who was born in Berkshire Co., Mass. Children : All born in Center Lisle, N. Y. Jane Matilda, b. Jan. 21, 1823 ; d. Apr. 14, 1867.
