Each September Phoenix School students elect officers to lead their student run community service club, The EarlyAct Club, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Salem. During each year Phoenix kids raise money through various school and community projects, then decide which causes will receive the money they have raised. Phoenix 6th- 8th graders have recently been on the campaign trail. They gave campaign speeches, seeking to convince their fellow students to elect them to the offices for which they ran. Enjoy watching them address the voters. Election results will be announced at the Inauguration on Tuesday, September 24, when the new officers will be sworn in by Salem Rotary President, Brenda Smith, and congratulated by Rotarian guests.
