Each one is so very common and so very burdensome. I really wish women of God would REALLY understand the second burden and REALLY lay it down. Having sinned greatly and received full grace and complete forgiveness, I can tell you that nothing... NOTHING throws off the lies of the enemy and releases burdens like living honestly and transparently. Why remain in the shackles of feigned perfection - whether it be hiding your God-given beauty behind too much make-up, or striving to attain a thin reputation that pleases your pride and everyone elses shifty approval? I dont mean to be harsh, but this is how I had to deal with myself... God receives no glory when we carry burdens that we were never meant to carry. Feigned perfection is as filthy rags; another form of mans righteousness. Hiding is a result of fear. Fear has nothing to do with love. Sisters, lets let Gods love to dispel every dark spot in our lives. Freedom, and the purest, deepest fellowship, await us.
