Each to their own. Ive heard. &ostly asked sillier/ more thoughtless question. Thats how we learn. I rather hep after 51 yrs of horse ownership & encourage this generation to find the joy of being one with the horse. That being said the remark about rich is laughable. Most of with horse would be better off financially without them. The work in caring for then is exausting as I age through my 60s. Rae, sorry you ran into a snob. Me too, but Ive found the snobbier that person is , usiually dont know as much as they think & always remember Karma is real. Someone will make them feel just like she made you feel. With luck shell see & do better.
