Each year for many years now, my alma mater Sacred Heart Secondary School in Sibu will hold a Speech Day to reward achievers with awards sponsored by me. Its not about monetary gains for the students and teachers but the inspiration and recognition they get for doing their best and being the best. I was surprised the recent function, where my son Clifford represented me, received such wide coverage in the local press. I am merely giving back to a place that has so tremendously shaped my life.
