Each year, we like to do a theme for Christmas which means we plan activities and food around a certain place or thing. Weve traveled the world by celebrating the food and customs of Mexico and Ireland. By far, our favorite theme has been Harry Potter. This year, were still debating. Im pullin for a Little House on the Prairie, but I dont think anyone else is game. Im this close to makin it a Macklemore Merry Christmas, yall. Some things never change for us. We always decorate the tree the day after Thanksgiving with the same yummlies for snacking. We always have an advent calendar. Sharing with others is a big part of our holiday and we find ways to do that every single year. We always eat beignets and bacon on Christmas morning. Those are all pieces of my familys traditions.
