Earier this week Sports caster Trevor Matich ranked undefeated FSU @ #7. He reiterated this morning that they are still #7 because they are a one trick pony.( Winston to Shad). Im sorry what? We are now being devalued because our QB throws to the only veteran receiver on the field? Have they forgotten we have 3 true freshman at WR and a true freshman at RB? Last time I checked the top 6 teams are only one trick ponies. Miss St only has Dak, Oregon only has Marriotta (with a loss...at home), Alabama has Cooper, Baylor has Petty, TCU has Boykin, ect... And since when is winning not the name of the game? Now do I believe we are playing like the best? Hell no. Our defense is suspect and if Jameis doesnt throw pics early on maybe we arent having to fight to make a comeback. The problem is that ESPN has conditioned us to believing that just because a team is in the SEC that automatically makes them a better team because they have been so dominant in years past. No doubt they were the conference to beat from 2002-2012 but these last couple years the SEC hasnt dominated. To me there is no best conference because schools have recruited better players so now its more of an even playing field. You want to see whos the best? More out of conference games, thats the only true way. Im just over the biased, prejudice opinions of these sports casters, give credit where credit is due. That includes all teams in all conferences.
