Earl selecting lunch from the menu at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido following 7:30am total left knee joint replacement surgery done by Dr R. Chueng, Kaiser Orthopedic surgeon. I waited until nearly noon, to meet Earl in his room. So I took pictures of the hospital. Pretty nice! Only two years old, too. Earl exercised this evening and stood on just right leg with a walker. Tomorrow he will walk the hall with the walker after breakfast. Dr. Chueng said surgery went well. He is highly motivated. He will heal quickly due to working out at the Y there times s week for eight months. We will be able to do the right knee in 3-4 months!
