Earlier I posted pictures of some of the students who work with me in the music office. I just saw a video that has a former student employee Leah S. She is a Music Educator, and goes to Woodring (the Education College of WWU). She has been student teaching and is in this video. The thing about Leah is she is in a wheelchair, but never made anyone feel uncomfortable about it, and shes doing the same thing for her students (a few have been in wheelchairs). I was just told this heart warming story about a little girl in a wheelchair who is finally being accountable for being a second grader, and thriving now because of it.
