Earlier in 2014, The Blackstone Group, announced it was narrowing future single-family home purchases to a handful of markets: Seattle, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando and Tampa. It also said its acquisition pace has declined 70% from its peak last year. As of early 2014, Blackstone owned more than 43,000 homes in 14 cities. Blackstone owns THOUSANDS of single family homes in Florida under different aliases, and...............it owns NINE homes in Gulf View Estates. (Nine is an approximate number, because Blackstone keeps changing the names that it uses for purchase of these homes making it more difficult to locate them.)
