Earlier in the month, Lambton Public Health issued a blacklegged tick advisory based on searches in Pinery Provincial Park. But the ticks extend beyond the park boundaries and have been spotted in other small pockets of Lambton County as well. .....To date, 33% of the ticks tested in Lambton County have been of the blacklegged variety. In previous years, only 2to 3% of specimens were blacklegged ticks . All my beach goers and pinery lovers watch out what bites ya if ya dont know what these suckers give ya its lyme disease its a real nasty disease and over 90% of doctors in canada are not trained in how to diagnose nor treat this disease
