Earlier this week, I came to the decision to no longer play baseball at Saginaw Valley State University in order to focus on my grades. I came to SVSU because I earned the Presidential Scholarship, which pays for all of my tuition. Baseball was just an added bonus and I enjoyed it while I played! I successfully came back from Tommy John surgery (UCL Reconstruction) and had a great summer ball season with the Gladwin American Legion Post 171 baseball team. I went 6-0 with a 1.97 ERA! Even though I had a very successful summer, the game of baseball was no longer fun to play for me. I really hate coming to that realization and saying that, but its true. I would like to thank everyone that has supported me over the years through all the ups and downs: my family, my friends, my teammates, my coaches, etc. To my SVSU baseball bros, good luck this year! Im planning on coming out to games when I can!
