Earlier this year 29 young mothers and their babies were evicted from the Focus E15 hostel in Stratford into the private sector where rents are soaring and benefits are being cut. The first photo is Robin Wales Mayor of Newham does not have any interest in the mothers plight and very many other people. Earlier this year the mothers were told they have to be realistic there is no accommodation in London yet a large part of the Carpenter Estate lies empty. This estate has been deemed unfit to live in. I went there today to show solidarity on behalf of the Housing 4All Campaign. I took these photos from inside on of the two housing being occupied by the mothers. Please take a look do you think these flats are unfit to live in? There is running water and electricity still connected. WE WONT GO, WE WILL FIGHT. HOUSING IS A HUMAN RIGHT
