Earlier this year in a debate between Bill Nye The Science Guy (Old Earth/Universe Evolutionist) and Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis (Young Earth/Universe Creationist), Bill Nye stated that he wanted to destroy Young Earth Creationist and make Old Earth Evolution the standard of academics because he said that America would fall behind in the advancement of technology. Thats funny to me because ever since the 1960s when evolution was thrusted into schools Americas academic level took a nose dive. The reason people didnt notice is because they kept dumbing down the SATs and all the other aptitude tests to make it look like there wasnt a decline in academics... Also, WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES BELIEVING IN A YOUNG EARTH/UNIVERSE have to do with anything with the advancement of technology or medicine?!! The answer is NOTHING!!! Also, almost every major branch of science were started by Young Earth Bible believing Christians and after there findings it didnt shake there faith at all; for example, Isaac Newton basically wrote the physics book that we use in college today and none of it has to do with millions and billions of years and we use his laws a lot when it comes to military weaponry and almost every thing that moves today!! There is a deeper issue with Bill Nyes statement, its reason is when you eliminate God you can begin to justify the way you live without feeling bad. THATS A DANGEROUS WAY TO THINK! #FoodForThought
