Earlier today I amidst loud music playing I heard the sound of bagpipes from a single piper. Upon hearing this I stood up and I stood rather proudly as I strained to listen to the pipes. Is there something in my blood that causes such a reaction when hearing the playing of the pipes? Maybe there is something deep inside that causes me to rise in repect to something of my heritage. Whatever it is I will always enjoy that haunting sound.
