Earlier tonight Brian sneaked a pic of me and little man as we were looking at each other in his bathroom mirror before his bath. As I was just now looking at the pic Brian had taken {hes not the best picture taker} it brought tears to my eyes as I remembered back to how long I had to wait to give Renner his first {real} bath and how grateful I am each and every time I give him his bath now. There are many things that most take for granted in life that we had to wait to do...waited 1 month to hold him, waited 4 months to give a bath, dress and feed him and waited 6.5 months to bring our baby boy home. I feel so blessed that while Renner waited at the footsteps of Heavens door, I was able to stay positive and be grateful for the little things that I was able to do. Knowing that Renner should not still be here makes me even that much more grateful for all the little things, because I know that what so many of us take for granted...others are praying for!
