Early August there were rumors that The Pacers were exploring trade options for Roy Hibbert. Rumor has it, the Pacers contacted the Suns for a trade involving Roy Hibbert for Gordan Drajic. Another team the Pacers contacted, was the Detroit Pistons. A trade involving Roy Hibbert for Greg Munroe was proposed. I think it would be in the Pacers best interest to go after Rajon Rondo, and if they can get a deal done with Greg Munroe, that would give them a great team, that would be solid come playoff time. As much as Danny Ainge has denied trade rumors involving Rajon Rondo, the fact that they drafted Marcus Smart, the tells me they are looking to replace Rondo, and they are secretly making deals with teams. So I think the Pacers could get Rondo if they come up with an offer the Celtics cant refuse. The Celtics reportedly turned down trade offers from the Nuggets, Suns, and Kings.
