Early Dismissal day on Thursday! Are you ready? Please remember that Montvale Station Road is NOT a drive up drop off/pick up location. Do not pull to the shoulder behind the parked cars/visitor spaces. It is not safe. If you want to drop off/pick up your child at the door, you must use the driveway at the back of the school. Maryville PD usually has someone stationed at the corner of Montvale Station and S. Cedar Street in the afternoons to assist with traffic and pedestrians. Other approved locations to pick up/drop off students are the parking lots: First United Methodist Church (both sides) and at the bottom of the track on Karrow Street. Please remember to park in marked parking spaces so that children can easily be seen between parked cars and not have to navigate around double parked/oddly parked cars. Ms. Cates is usually at the big cross-walk to assist with pedestrians crossing to FUMC and to ensure the busses are exiting as quickly as possible. FUMC is an excellent neighbor to MJHS so please use their parking spaces as marked, they also have a preschool going on inside and so there may be small children entering/exiting with parents at the same time. Busses wont run until 3:20 on this day but there will be extra pedestrians/car riders. Please be cautious and have PATIENCE.
