Early Morning Pondering (EMP) March 16, 2014 ... :) :) :) ... Beloved, the Psalmist speaking on the Works and WORD of GOD said, Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.(Psalms 19:2); Indeed, the nighttime or wee hours should not be just for sleeping. Nay! Though this is contrary to human opinions, however nighttime should be for us, who are in CHRIST, the time we search out and apply GODS WORD to the real life challenges we are confronted with in other for us to be victorious and also that our joy may be full! It is written: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places(Ephesians 6:12). Also, in the Scriptures, JESUS told a parable of the wheat and the tares, of how a man sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. (Matthew 13:24-30); Tares are weeds. This parable is a story that signifies the final judgment and the tares represent the wicked or sons of the evil one. During judgment, the angels of the LORD will gather together first, the wicked or sons of the evil one (tares), and bind them in bundles to burn them: but will gather the sons of the Kingdom (wheat) into Paradise. :) Beloved, since the enemy is busy at night and goes about sowing tares in our vineyard, why should we be sleeping? GODS WORD says, Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand(Ephesians 6:13). Therefore, as children of GOD,there is the need to make the best use of the nighttime or very early hours in the morning... by rising up a great while before day to seek the LORD. It is the most productive periods to receive divine revelations in other to emerge triumphantly.
