Early morning update : A lot of people tell me about cities like Bangalore or Mumbai. They all are Bengalis and they ask me to shift there, perhaps just for the swag of it & living out of home. I do not find this good enough. First : I love this city of Calcutta. Second : I had my share of living outside home. Now if I leave Calcutta, it should be some good onsite opportunity which, if not anything else, will make my bank account statement look good. And yes, I will get back only to Calcutta. Third : You might stay in Mumbai, be a bong-Mumbaikar, and indulge in the biggest show offs just for the heck of it. Staying in Calcutta, makes me save more and invest in other sector, read: photography. Fourth : I have a lot to give back to this city. Trust me, a lot. And now that the Almighty gave me an opportunity, there should be no second thoughts. So dear Mr. NewsPaper Editor, I thank you for the offer. Dear cousin, dear friends - Mumbai Bangalore Delhi mubarak ho. I choose Calcutta over any place else.
