Early this morning as I was lying on my couch wishing I could fall back asleep I ended up reading a post on Facebook that was very strongly opinionated and very much one sided. I was very sad and upset and then looked down the line on the couch to see my beautiful Wags adopted Mandy sleeping on her pillow like a princess. There snuggled behind my legs was my foster Jelly Bean who is so scared that I might try to touch him or pick him up, but loves to nestle close to my legs and rest his head on my knee for a pillow. On my chest was my Foster Gabby who last night met her forever family and will be going to her new home tomorrow. I realized that I am so blessed to have found and to be a part of Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue of MN! I have also met so many wonderful people. Some who had joined Wags after me and some who have left for other endeavors in animal rescue. As I assume we all have the same or a similar goal which is to save as many animals from euthanasia and get them into a loving home for the rest of theirs lives. I love you all and hope we are all successful in our goal.
