East Meets West Day 11 - Today was all about religion. I started the day at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City -- its a little smaller than TJMC but I liked it. From there I went to a bar that was showing the Formula 1 race. I caught the end of the race and lunch. This place was actually packed with F1 fans many wearing their McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari garb. Cheering for passes and loving Vettels donuts! I never thought Id see that in the states. And from there I came back to Burbank to a Packers bar to watch the green and gold give a good fight but come up short in the end. Lots of evidence this year that just about every team in the NFL has a crappy backup. We dont have cable here at the apartment so Im spending a lot of time watching stuff on Netflix online. Im about half way through the series Long Way Down - its stars Ewan McGregor and his friend Charlie who are riding their motorcycles from the tip of Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa. Awesome series. Its a follow up to their Long Way Around where the duo rode from London to NYC going east. Fingers crossed for us as we hope to find out whats wrong with the Frankenvolvo. Hopefully its something simple.
