EastEnders fans will see the hunt for Lucy Beales killer take more twists in the build-up to Christmas as DC Emma Summerhayes gets a new clue sent to her.A fresh piece of evidence presents itself when an envelope addressed to Emma (Anna Acton) is posted through the Brannings front door.When Lauren hands the mysterious delivery over to Emma, she is surprised to open the envelope and find a USB stick containing a video from the night that Lucy was murdered. Only time will tell whether the footage could help to catch Lucys killer or whether its another red herring, but when Emma shows it to Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), she is equally shocked to see what has been caught on camera. EastEnders will air these scenes during Christmas week on BBC One, which sees the ongoing Lucy mystery run alongside a dramatic festive season for the Carters.Just before she watches the USB footage, Emma also meets up with her ex-partner DS Bryant (Glen Wallace) who has some new information to share with her. What will he have to say, and will it relate to the case? EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, December 22 at 8pm on BBC One.
