Easter dinner at the Imperial Palace of Babylon....Princess Natasha Jibladze brought an entire suitcase of AMAZING traditional Russian and Georgian food (on ice). We had eggplant two different ways (one spicy and one with walnuts), khachapuri ( a type of Georgian pizza made with cheese)..leeks with walnuts, spinach with walnuts, kulich (Russian Easter bread), Russian Easter Sweet Paskha (dessert), Princess Natasha cookies..best cookies EVER...and traditional dyed Easter eggs..brilliant red..dyed only with roots and onion skins. I threw in some roasted chicken and green beans. It WAS amazing...Gary and Natasha had Georgian red wine and I had sparkling cider.
