Eastern Health is offering the following walk-in immunization clinics this week throughout the region: • Tuesday, February 4, 2014 – Bay Roberts Lion’s Club, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. • Wednesday, February 5, 2014 – Bonavista, Community Health Office, 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. • Saturday, February 8, 2014 – St. John’s, Bethesda Pentecostal Church, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The vaccine is now available to all members of the public for the remainder of the flu season. The influenza vaccine is also available at community health offices throughout the region by appointment. Eastern Health also reminds the public that plans should be made for children under the age of nine to return for a second dose of the vaccine four weeks after the first dose. The public is reminded to bring their Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Care Plan (MCP) card when visiting immunization clinics.
