Eastern University Drama & Theatre Forum (EUDTF) staged a Drama on the occasion of Club Carnival entitled “Sangbad Cartoon” written by Selim Al Deen, an esteemed dramatist of the country. It was directed by theatre activist and director Shat-el Kabir, who graciously worked with EUDTF to make it happen. All the actors in the drama were students of Eastern University across the Faculties EUDTF organized two consecutive shows of Sangbad Cartoon on the occasion. At that event the Vice chancellor of Eastern University Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Pro Vice chancellor of Eastern University professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury and Dean of the faculty of Arts Prof. Kashinath Roy along with faculty members and officials graced the occasion with their presence. Coordinator of EUDTF, Ms. Ismat Zarin, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of English, EU and Abdul Hai Selim, President of EUDTF, Sumon Miah, Secretary, EUDTF, executive committee members, and general members of EUDTF worked really hard to make it a success.
