“Easy Herbs” will be the topic of September’s First Friday in the Garden. Sandie Fenton, an herbs expert, will discuss how and when to grow various herbs as well as their uses in cooking. Fenton, a master gardener since 2003, has been a member of the Charlotte Herb Guild for 20 years. The free educational program will be held at the Glencairn Garden Learning Center, 835 Edgemont Ave., Rock Hill, beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6. First Friday in the Garden is a public service of the Master Gardeners of York County, Clemson Extension Service and the Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.
