Eat-Cook-Grow tip of the week! With the advent of 2015, many of us have set goals for what we would like to accomplish in the New Year. For the next few weeks, we are going to focus on how to set SMART goals when it comes to nutrition. The first tip: Make a goal in which you control the outcome. In other words, make an “action goal” instead of a “results goal”. Instead of saying, “I am going to lose 20lbs,” say, “This year, I am going to eat more whole foods and monitor my portion sizes.” Make your goal something you can do and you will accomplish what you want to get done!
