Ebola virus is an aggressive pathogen that causes a highly lethal hemorrhagic fever syndrome in humans and nonhuman primates. It was first recognized near the Ebola river valley during an outbreak in Zaire in 1976. The natural Host for Ebola virus is unknown, so it has not been possible to implement programs to control or eliminate viral reservoirs of transmission to human populations. Initially infection presents non specific flu-like symptoms such as, fever, myalgia, malaise, severe bleeding, rash just to mention a few. recently Ebola has killed over 700 people in west African countries. Malawi is a country with porous borders which means we can get the virus any time. Research done by Zodiak today shows that majority of Malawians are not aware of what is Ebola. if you find this status useful like it and then type add more information and say thanks.
