Economic Freedom Fighters EFF STATEMENT ON THE DEATH OF STANLEY SELOWA WHO WAS WISHING TO SEE CIC AT RELELA WHERE CIC WAS MISTAKENLY EXPECTED 31, January, 2014 Economic Freedom Fighters receives the news of the passing of Stanley Selowa who attended the protest gathering with the only hope to see Commander in Chief, Julius Malema with great sadness. The wife of Stanley Selowa, one of the brutally murdered protestors by the Relela police, reported that her husband went to the meeting because he wanted to meet Commander in Chief in person following rumours that he would be addressing the gathering. Often when many people across the country hear that Economic Freedom Fighters will be part of their struggles to confront power on the ground, they tend to translate this to mean the Commander in Chief himself will be coming. EFF sends its heart felt revolutionary condolences to all who lost their loved ones on the picket lines that day, and in particular to the family of Stanley Selowa who attended with the sole purpose to see the CIC. The Commander in Chief will visit the family of Stanley Selowa on the 03, February, 2014 to personally take the heart felt revolutionary condolences of the EFF. The EFF Leadership in Limpopo will continue to work with the community of Relela to address the genuine concerns of the people and the Central Command Team will also write to the National Commissioner and all relevant authorities to call for cessation of the violence of the police. EFF shall be with the people to the end, and will never stand on the side-lines as the current government is at war with the people, killing innocent protesters everywhere.
