Edgar Lungu Tastes PF Violence at the Helm Newly elected Patriotic Front Secretary General Edgar Lungu yesterday got a taste of the violent nature of some Patriotic Front cadres when cadres openly traded punches in his presence at the Livingstone Civic Centre. The cadres who have been shadow boxing over the continued stay of provincial chairperson Daniel Munkombwe engaged in a free for all punch up as they tried to dominate the meeting. Lungu’s efforts to quell the fight went unheeded until he led the gathering in the national anthem. Livingstone Member of Parliament Lawrence Evans helplessly shed tears as he tried to control the situation. Lungu later called for unity among party members and threatened to crack the whip on unruly cadres.
