Edina High School volleyball players are making a difference by participating in service-learning projects to facilitate team bonding and better the community. In late August, the group made 500 sandwiches for The Sandwich Project of MN. And on Sept. 18, they hosted a VEAP event that resulted in 620 pounds donated food. The Sandwich Project was a great bonding experience and I think its important for the players to embrace helping others, donating their time, money, items, etc. We have a great opportunity to help others because we are such a large organized group, says Head Volleyball Coach Steph Chapek. Way to go, team!
