Edited version! Fun at childcare .... (I am exhausted after day two!) We did the Wiggly Woo Then rock a-byed our bears, Row rowed our boats And wiped away some tears. Dressed up like a pirate Yelled “aargh, aargh” a few times, Munched up squishy carrot A favourite pirate food of mine. We made a duplo building And filled it up with pigs, Then squished a car in too with a jiggity jiggity jig. We twinkled stars with our fingers Speckled frogs croaked and sang, Five fat sausages sizzled in their pan Til they exploded with a bang. The swings were very popular “Push me!” the refrain, We smashed up ice with our boots Then put the pieces back again. Oh how the years do roll away When all you have do is play.
