Editorial Piedrecita About Us (Part II): Above all else, we - TopicsExpress

Editorial Piedrecita About Us (Part II): Above all else, we are… We are no more than just any other layperson who’s been trampled on and discarded by the Church. In the same way that many good priests and many good laymen are trampled on and stricken by their own corrupt Church, in this same way…that’s who we are. We, Editorial Piedrecita, likewise are Laymen despised by our very own Church yet not by Christ. The Church today, as soon as it discovers a good priest filled with the Holy Spirit, one who is qualified to evangelize and teach without beating around the bush or lies, as soon as the Church discovers Laymen extremely proficient and qualified to serve in Christ’s ministry, as soon as the Church becomes aware, the first thing it does is give ‘em a kick and throw them out. The Church treats them like Protestants, closes the doors on them, and abandons them to where they are repudiated, to where they’ll desist from their good intentions, and—even with them being righteous and highly educated in the gospel—to where they’ll wither away and be scorned by the clergy, the Bishops, and everyone in general so that they may be forgotten forever. However, the contempt from our very own Church is what has given birth to Editorial Piedrecita. Instead of us becoming apostates and schismatics, we have, by divine Grace and Will, stayed in the only Church that Christ established with a special calling from the highest of heaven, in order to proclaim the Gospel and Christ’s light to those who are scattered about, to the despised, and to those wounded by the corrupt Church of today. Yes, it’s true! If it were up to our wounded soul and to our humanity, we also would have done what anyone would do: Leave the Church! However, Heaven has intervened: Both the Mother and owner of the Church have not wanted this to happen, and it so happens that He and She do not agree with the corruption of their priests and of their corrupt administrators. Christ does not agree with many of his priests who are insolent and hypocrites, authoritative and abusive in their parochial communities, priests who abuse their priestly authority and—though being ignoramuses in religion—have the audacity and shamelessness, nonetheless, to disparage and insult God’s children. Editorial Piedrecita was born out of a unique calling and the special attention which comes from the most high, not for the purpose of eliciting hate but to offer hope and light in those who have also been let down by their own Church, and so that they may know that Christ is not only in the nucleus of his Church but also with those who are belittled and stricken by the corrupt authorities of our Church. We are Christ’s answer to the incomprehension, pain, and hurt of all those who have gotten lost in the darkness of this world, and we are a light in the journey towards Christ. We are a stake that the Lord has put in place to see if the Church wants to come out of its blindness and tend to the calling of the poor, simple, and humble Christ. We are the lion’s roar from the tribe of Judah so that the stricken and mistreated Church and its scattered cubs throughout the world hasten their return from the West. Following Christ’s light and instructions, we have decided to obey him and love him above all things. Christ loves his Church, and he wants his Church to be straightened up and for it to stop the insults and ill-treatment, which it has been doing thus far. We are, hence, loyal to Christ, to his calling, and to his divine wishes. In this manner, therefore, Editorial Piedrecita was born from the pain that the Church suffers today and from the infixed stigmata on Christ’s body. We are a voice that clamors in the desert. We are the voice of a people that cries and seeks peace in Christ until eternity. This is who we are. Editorial Piedrecita is a voice that clamors in the desert.
