Editorial board does a fair job in summing up Duceys speech, but I think they miss the boat on education and this idea that our highest performing schools are all charters. Theyre buying into his apples to apples comparison. When you start looking at the populations these schools serve, i.e. income levels and students with disabilities, youll see a much different story than what hes concocted. Instead of funding hundreds of new schools, how about focusing on fixing the problems at the ones that are already serving thousands of students? Thats something our legislature has yet to try. #whataconcept
