Editors to Supreme Court lawyers to doctor parents to juvenile rapists to many around us, all tell us that yes the society is as patriarchal as before and nothing much has changed for women, from the 16th century! A tendency to disrespect the ability of a woman to take decisions, run a family, deliver a deadline-based task at work, participate in a serious conversation, choose her own dress to wear etc etc is soooo common, yeah I see that around me and we women experience it many times! Frankly I dont let go of any opportunity to treat those filth like filth and let them know that it is simply NOT acceptable! Im no feminist and yeah, I proudly thank the men in my life, my dad, my husband, my mentor, my brothers who actually re-assure me that I have no reason to put up with any kind of disrespect whatsoever! :)
