Edmond J. St. Laurent Jr., 82 SEEKONK - Edmond J. St. Laurent Jr., 82, the proprietor of the former Seekonk Form Company, Inc., and former Seekonk Police Officer, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Mildred Ann (Maguire) St. Laurent for 60 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edmond J., Sr. and Claudia (Blanchard) St. Laurent. Edmond was a 1950 graduate of LaSalle Academy and a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed spending time at his home in Maine. Edmond was an usher and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish (formerly St. Mary Church), Seekonk. He was a former Scout Master of North Seekonk Boy Scout Troop 1 and a member of American Legion Post 311; Rhody Oldies Hockey Team and the American Quarter Horse Association. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Edmond J. St. Laurent, III and his wife, Julie; three daughters, Sharon A. Fisk and her husband, James, Susan J. Lockwood and her husband, Mark and Lisa M. Hopkins and her husband, John all of Seekonk and seven grandchildren. He was the father of the late Steven M. St. Laurent. His funeral with Military honors will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
