Edmund Eysler was a Jewish composer of various types of music, but in particular light operettas. His most famous work is Bruder Straubinger, of which one piece from it can be heard at this link. The English translation of the title is To Kiss is No Sin. Eysler was quite popular in his lifetime. During the Nazi period he managed to survive in Vienna due to the help of non-Jewish friends and family who hid him. He died shortly after the end of the war, in 1949.
