Edo Group Project The intention of this group is to share building and construction techniques of an Modern Edo kite. Rather than making one kite, each member will end up with their own kite from the panels provided from all other participants. Member should be prepared to share the progress of their work. This does not preclude other interested builders from joining the group or offering helpful comments. Due to the scope of the project a limit of 12 participant has been applied to the project. Each participant will receive a panel from all other participants in the group,as it was thought unfair not to. From these 12 panels modern Edo kites will be made by the participants of the group. With this number of panels it will be possible to construct more than one kite. Panel size: Landscape 620mm x 420mm this includes an extra 10mm on all sides for trimming this is aprox. 16 x 24 for the metric challenged. Panels should be completed by the end of July to early August to facilitate distribution in September. Final configuration of panels to be discussed Ripstop 0.75oz. material is to be used Final panels should be numbered 1/10, 2/10 ect. and signed and dated by the maker. The Participants are: Trevor Reeves Kevin Bayless Ron Bohart Ron Ortega William G. Lamm Ronda Brewer Ben Huggett Brianne Howard David Geer Alden Miller Bob Kelly Kip Clement I would like to finalize some of the detail asap so there is no discontent among participants. I work on a democratic model where everyone should have their say, however on some points I will have to be autocratic to move forward. Trev-(R)
