Education Dept disposes of 44 cases in public hearing Wednesday, June,19 2013 CHANDIGARH: The Legal Cell of Education Department, Punjab disposed of 44 cases out of 110 in public hearing here today. The Spokesman of the Education Department said that the Legal Cell of the Education Department has conducted a ‘Public Hearing’ on 17-06-2013 chaired by Anjali Bhawra IAS, Principal Secretary School Education, in which Harbans Singh, Special Executive Officer (Litigation), Gurdip Singh Special Secretary (School Education) and all District Education Officers (secondary and elementary) were also present. The spokesman said that total 110 cases were considered in public hearing program out of which 44 has been disposed off on the spot and orders have been issued to officers to dispose of pending cases. He said that 15 employees of the department has also submitted their grievances/representations regarding their service issues in Public Hearing and the panel has directed concerned officers to sort out these cases on priority basis.
