Education Hour starts this Sunday, March 9th. For the season of Lent Pastor Jeff will be leading us in an exploration of the discipline of Simplicity - stripping away some of the clutter of life, to make more room for God and God’s work of generating truly abundant life. This is no small task in a culture that seems to move at warp speed! Most of us would say our schedules are busier and more stressful than we would like. Most of us would say there are more possessions in our homes than we actually need or make use of. Most of us live surrounded by technology that floods us with constant input. For the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter, we want to be intentional about stepping back from cluttered schedules, cluttered spaces, and cluttered minds, because it’s only in uncluttered spaces that we are able to see what’s really significant for living a rich life in Christ! This will be an opportunity to explore the biblical call to simplicity and how we can embody it in our modern lives. It will have a lot of practical tools for practicing simplicity and will provide space for shared learning.
