Education & awareness has the ability to spread into such an amazing movement for change. Thank you so much to the strong willed individuals at three different metal shops who when SERCO asked to build a steel door for MITA, refused knowing they would loose lots of profit. Thank you to the multiple artists who pulled out Sydneys big upcoming Expedition in protest, refusing to support Australia after everything revealed. Thank you Christmas Island asylum seekers who despite your urgent need have come together and started a hunger strike for those you may or may not even know on Manus Island. Huge thank you to everyone working for the government or G4S or SERCO who despite their contracts, refused to remain silent and are speaking out regardless of the consequences. Thank you to all the senators and politicians who are putting pressure on Scott Morrison to resign. Thank you so much to every single person & advocate who fear is not a reality for & who are so passionate & outraged at the same time, who have stood up for those who have been silenced & refuse to back down. One day we will look back at this like the way we look at slavery or the holocaust & you can all say proudly yah I was part of that change Remember Australia is a democratic country. You may feel powerless, but in the end the power of the people is so much stronger then those in power Keep it up!
