Edward Bernays. He openly opposed true democracy in the United States, and yet, as someone that works in the media industry, I am greatly impressed with the amazing effect he had on American soceity. His introduction of the concept of public relations and his viewpoint of human rationality being vulnerable to desire has lead to the giant corporate machine that influences our economy today. His teaching has influenced the policies of these corporations that exist solely to generate monetary revenue and pay their dues to a banking cartel that acts as central bank of the United States of America. I wish I could sit down with this guy and have a conversation.
